Spanish in Context Workgroup
This group meets twice a semester to discuss issues related to the LICO-housed journal, Spanish in Context, including these:
* What is the history of the journal and the range of disciplines it publishes?
* What is the current acceptance rate and impact factor? (And what’s an impact factor?)
* What are the steps of the review process?
The journal’s Executive Editor (and LICO co-director), Prof. Kim Potowski, with the journal’s Editorial Assistant and LICO member, Irene Finestrat Martínez, will lead these sessions. Some (but not all) sessions will require reading one of the journal articles in advance of the discussion.
